| We welcome your suggestions and comments about the services we provide. Indeed, feedback from patients is often the most significant catalyst for change. We will try to incorporate as many of your ideas possible. Please feel free to make your suggestions, in complete confidence, to Mr Nick Halsall, the Manager, either in person, or in writing to the main surgery address.
Should a patient be unhappy about any of the services or care that we have provided, a complaints procedure has been set up to ensure that all grievances are dealt with rapidly and efficiently for the benefit of all parties concerned. Complaints should be sent in writing to the Manager at the main surgery address, who will acknowledge receipt of the complaint within 48 hours. After a thorough investigation, a meeting will then be arranged where the matter can be discussed openly, recorded and hopefully resolved. Further information and a full copy of the complaints procedure can be obtained from the Manager on request.
The surgery uses an extremely sophisticated computer package specially tailored to our needs in private general practice - indeed we now run a completely paperless data storage system. All appointments and consultations are processed electronically, and results and correspondence immediately scanned onto a patient's file. This ensures the highest quality of data storage, retrieval, and analysis for all members of the practice team. Such electronic notes are backed up daily and protected by changing pass-words to ensure confidentiality in line with national guidelines.
This brochure/website is reviewed routinely once a year and also immediately following any change in policy, personnel etc which renders the content inaccurate. Should you wish to make any comments or suggestions about this website/brochure/guide etc, please contact the practice manager, Mr Nick Halsall, either in writing or directly at the surgery.
Healthcare Commission
The practice is registered with the Healthcare Commission as an independent private clinic. The Commission is responsible for inspecting all independent healthcare establishments to ensure the safety and well-being of patients through an examination of the processes and procedures in practice.
Patients can contact the commission should they wish to seek independent advice regarding any aspect of their healthcare with the practice. The commission can also provide patients with a copy of the most recent inspection report about the practice. This is also available upon request from the Manager.
